There is a movie coming out in the Fall of 2012 about the Esalen Institute and the work that it has inspired. The film will feature Russell Targ, Nick Herbert, Michael Murphy, Ed Kelly, Adam Crabtree, Stanislov Grof, Dana Sawyer, Elizabeth Rauscher, Jeffrey J. Kripal and Charles Tart. Sounds good to me!

Hi Sandy!
I've been a longtime reader of your blog and blogs/websites of a similar nature, and wanted to say thanks for posting your experiences ur it makes for interesting and illuminating reading.
I wanted to ask you a couple of questions. Basically at what stage or what particular event convinced you that these experiences are real?
Are you still taking part in experiments? If so how are they going?
If you don't want to answer these in this public domain I understand and can happily give you my e-mail address? If you don't want to answer them at all again I understand and thanks for your time anyway!
Happy new year!
Cheers,
Robbie
Hi Robbie,
Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you've enjoyed my blog.
There wasn't a line in the sand when I knew it was real. It's more of an ongoing process and to this day I still have my doubts. I thinks that's why I've been interested in testing my experiences and trying to learn as much as I can about them.
I'm still trying things out and recording the results. And I'll be making a trip to the Rhine Research Center this year to do some tests.
Happy New Year!
Sandy
Sandy,
Thanks for the quick reply, I have to admit I was pretty impressed!
Ah right I seem to remember you posting a blog entry a while back, about a guy who talked to you, and you then found his obituary afterwards? Is that true or am I just making stuff up?
Ah the Good old Rhine centre! Im assuming you can't tell us what they're testing you for??
Cheers again!
Robbie
That's true. It was a soldier named Frank and I found his obituary online so I could show it to him.
As far as the Rhine goes, I'll find out when I get there.
Best,
Sandy
Glad Im not making stuff up then! I've gotta say thats pretty impressive though, especially considering you found his obituary.
Whats happened to your blog by the way? I tried to go back to look at some old posts of yours but the archives says theres only four from last year!
Sorry about the interrogation, I've been quiet on this and other forums for a while so theres been a lot of time for questions to build up! haha:)!
Cheers yet again,
Robbie
Hi Robbie,
I had actually planned on deleting the blog Jan 1 2012. But I didn't. The old posts have been archived offline.
I just felt there was too much personal info here and I guess I felt a little too exposed.
I was thinking it would maybe be OK to keep the blog, but start fresh with new stuff this year. I might just archive things at the end of each year. That way I share some things, but I'm not quite such an open book.
Hi Sandy
Yeah that makes sense, I can see why you'd feel like that.
But don't worry the things you've told us certainly make me feel better and I bet its the same for your other readers as well!
Cheers,
Robbie
